Walls

Walls, my third year graduation film, portrays a listless young woman alone in her bedroom, stubbornly ignoring texts from a mystery sender. When she realises she can transform her surroundings into a dreamy, blue paradise, she gets lost in her own escapism. However, this comes crashing down when she opens the texts she's been ignoring so determinedly. 

With this film, I wished to explore ideas surrounding escapism, mental illness and isolation, as well as the dangers inherent to shutting oneself off from the 'real world'.
